Skully lies amid the ruins, the fetal position symbolizing when we’re at our most vulnerable, the return to childhood.
The splashes of color highlight the spirit of creativity, but the decay reminds you of the artist’s curse. I remember the fun conversations as well as the tortured ones with the room’s tenant over jugs of wine. 12 years is a long time to live in one place with other creative souls. I refuse to have regrets. It’s part of my experience.
